When I first heard about blogs I thought they were corny and self serving. Well it comes to find out that I was right. Then I remembered I am actually a corny guy and blogging serves as a cathartic exercise for me.
Dos is a nickname a lady at my church gave me. She thinks its funny but I have actually taken to it, especially since my son's nickname is Trey. I really don't know what I will write about but I am sure I will be able to think of something. I have a wife two kids and work for SAP. In my spare time I like to barbeque and up until a few weeks ago I was starting to be a pretty good runner until I tore my meniscus. I am finishing up my first semester at GCU and patiently waiting for the start of Arizona Cardinals Football. All of these things will play a part in my blog at some time or another.
My family moved to Arizona in the 30's and we have lived in Phoenix all our lives. Phoenix has really changed over the last 50 years. It has gone from a obscure city, to a place where everyone wants to come and live. I have met thousands of people that have moved here for a new job, to retire, or escape the winter seasons of the midwest or back east. People that I know back east always ask me how do I stand the heat. I always tell them I never had to shovel sunshine off of my drive way. Yes it gets hot, but I love the climate here and their are very few places that I would rather live than Phoenix.
